Brian Sullivan has a long record of dedicated, effective public service. A former small business owner, mayor and city councilmember, Brian has sharpened his unique ability to cut through the red tape and find workable solutions for our community as our State Representative.
Brian grew up in our community, attending Mariner High and the University of Washington. Now he and his wife Debbie live in Mukilteo where they are raising two great kids, Riley and Michael.
As Mayor of Mukilteo, Brian understood the need to improve public safety, for a growing community. Brian's leadership established a full-time fire department, two new fire stations and significantly reduced response times. For his leadership, Brian was named an honorary lifetime member of the Mukilteo Firefighters.
Brian also recently served as an Executive Analyst for Snohomish County and currently serves as Snohomish County Coordinator.
As State Representative, Brian serves on the Transportation and Local Government Committees as well as chair of the Natural Resources, Ecology & Parks Committee.
Brian is involved in the Mukilteo/South Everett Rotary, Boys' and Girls' Clubs of America, Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross, Mukilteo Lions Club and the Mukilteo Boys' and Girls' Club.
